Generate the full presentation order in one click
Paste your class list — or type one name per line — and press Generate order. The whole class is shuffled into a numbered list straight away: 1, 2, 3 and so on, with every student appearing exactly once. You can read the order out, copy it into your planner or put it on the board before the first speaker stands up.
Reveal presenters one at a time
Sometimes it's better not to show the whole list up front. Press Present and the order opens full screen with Reveal one at a time switched on: only the first presenter is shown, and Next presenter steps to the next name when you're ready. Students stay attentive because nobody knows exactly when their turn is coming. Switch to Show full list whenever you want everyone to see the complete order.
Speeches, book reports and class projects
Use it for persuasive speeches, book reports, science fair talks, group project showcases and show-and-tell. It also works for language orals, debate rounds and student-led lesson starters — anywhere a group of students needs to go one after another.
Removing absent students before generating
Delete the names of anyone who's away before you press Generate order, so the list only includes students who can present today. If you edit the list after an order has been made, the old order is cleared and you generate a fresh one, so a removed student never stays in the result. Your list is remembered on this device for next time.
Reshuffling when a new order is needed
Need a different order for the next round of presentations? Press Reshuffle for a completely new random sequence from the same list. For games and casual turn-taking, who goes first builds an order one spin at a time, and the classroom wheel gives everyone a turn across a lesson.
Why a random order can reduce teacher bias
When the teacher writes the order by hand, it's easy to put confident students first or leave a particular student until last without meaning to. A random order takes that choice out of your hands: the sequence comes from your browser's secure random generator, and every arrangement is equally likely. See the randomness page for how the shuffle works. Need students in pairs for a joint presentation? Use the random partner generator first.
Privacy for student names
Student names and the generated order stay in this browser on this device. They aren't uploaded, stored on our servers or sent to analytics.
Questions
Can I reveal the presentation order gradually?
Yes. Press Present and the order opens with Reveal one at a time, so you can step through presenters one by one without showing the whole list in advance.
