    Spin for a classroom reward

When a student or the whole class has earned a reward, the spin adds a moment of anticipation. The wheel holds the rewards, not the students: you decide who has earned it, then spin to see which privilege they get.

    No-cost classroom reward ideas

The sample wheel uses rewards that cost nothing and fit most classrooms: choosing the next class game, picking the read-aloud, being class DJ for a song, teacher's helper, drawing on the board, choosing a seat, picking a brain break or choosing the class warm-up. If a break comes up, the brain break wheel can choose which one.

    Whole-class vs. individual rewards

Some teachers keep one wheel for individual privileges and another for whole-class rewards, such as an extra game at the end of the week. Build each one separately and switch between them as needed.

Customize the rewards for your classroom

Replace any sample with rewards that suit your students and school — type new ones in or paste a list. Remove anything that doesn't fit. Your wheel is remembered in this browser, so it's ready the next time someone earns a spin.

Project the wheel with Present Mode

Press Present for a full-screen wheel and a large result that's easy to read from the back of the room. Teachers who share resources online can also use Embed to place the wheel on a class website or blog.

Keep reward choices appropriate for your school

You decide which rewards are appropriate, who is eligible and when a reward is earned — Wheel Answer only picks at random from the options you give it. Check your school's guidance before adding rewards such as food or time off tasks. For calling on a student rather than choosing a reward, use the random student picker, and for giving everyone turns, the classroom wheel.
