The winner is picked first

When you press Spin, Wheel Answer chooses the winner immediately, then animates the wheel so it lands on that result. The animation never decides the outcome, so spin speed, timing or screen size can't affect fairness.

Secure randomness

Selection uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues(), a cryptographically secure random number generator. We use rejection sampling so every entry has exactly equal odds — no rounding bias.

Odds in each mode

• Random: each entry has a 1 in N chance per spin. Duplicate entries count as extra chances.
• Elimination: each spin picks evenly among the entries still on the wheel.
• Fair Rotation: each spin picks evenly among entries not yet chosen this round.

Where it runs

All selection happens in your browser. No server is involved in picking a winner.
