Privacy Policy

Your wheel

The choices you add, your settings and your spin history are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. We don't run a database of wheels and we don't receive a copy of your entries.

Share links and embeds

When you create a share link, QR code or embed code, your wheel's choices are packed into that link. The data sits after the # in the address, which browsers don't send to our server when the page loads. Anyone who has the link can see the choices, so share it only with people you trust.

Accounts and tracking

There are no accounts. We don't show ads or use advertising trackers. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and page requested) for security and reliability.

Optional analytics

If you choose "Allow analytics", we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which features are useful — for example how often wheels are spun or shared, in aggregate. Analytics only loads after you allow it, and your choice is remembered on this device. Analytics never receives your wheel entries, winners, wheel titles, pasted lists or anything you type into the wheel, and share or embed links are never sent. Choose "No thanks" and nothing is loaded.

Clearing your data

Use Clear all and Clear history in the app, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Using Wheel Answer with students

Because class lists stay in the browser, Wheel Answer is designed to minimise personal data. Schools should still follow their own policies about what information to enter.
